The Pearson BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Healthcare Practice requires a minimum of 225 hours of work experience or placement in health and/or social care settings. Additionally, you will need to complete a Professional Learning and Development (PLAD) portfolio, which includes reflective accounts.
The Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Healthcare Practice also mandates at least 225 hours of work experience or placement in health and/or social care settings, along with a PLAD portfolio containing reflective accounts. In total, you will need to complete a minimum of 450 hours of work experience or placements over the two-year duration of the qualification.

– Tuition Fee Loan: This loan covers your upfront fees and is paid directly to your university or college. Repayment starts only after you finish your course and are earning £26,575 a year or more. Both full-time and part-time students can apply.
